It was a very damp day indeed. The clouds either let out a downpour or mist throughout the day.
While rain is a very good thing, it can get a little tiring for my happy little garden critters. Fortunately the fairies have created their own little suns to light up their festivities.
It might not give off light or warmth, but it certainly made me smile.
Those are beautiful flowers. What are they? I am sorry you are having such crummy weather. I could send you some of our endlessly sunny days if you would like!!!

They are called St. John’s Wort and I noticed them yesterday while moving gravel. I felt they were calling out to me saying, “here, have some sun.” I don’t mind the rain, the gardens really need it.

Oh of course. They look so much more vibrant than the St. Johns Wart we have around here. Maybe because they are getting rain.

How is the gravel moving going? Are the pink Flamingos helping or just lying about in the gravel?

I think it will take a little more than the anticipated week! The flamingos have been behaving themselves where the gravel is concerned. I think the rains have kept them at bay.
