Farewell February Flamingos

When I was chronicling the first twelve days of 2017 to see if they really were an indication of how the year would be February was supposedly cleansing. I don’t know if cleansing is a good term, but it definitely had a lot to do with water. I am not going to go into details, but there was a lot of water.

If you read my January 2nd post, you will remember that I found a rat on my pile of flamingos. Well, that pretty much sums up my February. It was filled with flamingos and of course that was wonderful. It was also filled with rats (not real rodents) that seemed to constantly be thwarting my progress with the project at hand.

It is all fine now. At least I hope it is fine. The project is complete and has finally gotten approval and life goes on. Thank the flamingo stars!

I don’t want anybody to be worried about my flamboyance. I am not evicting my flamingos, but I am not going to be posting pictures of them every day.

My focus for March will be March Ahead. In my January 3rd post I wrote about being efficient and getting things done. I plan on using a different format for March posts. I hope to write it as though I was teaching a course on how to jump into doing things that you love so you never have to ‘work’ again. I need to take a leap and start really focusing on my dream career. I hope you will be able to join me.

It’s all down hill from here.

Just for the fun of it I am going to include a poll.

Marching may prove tiring before 31 days are down… I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I can only march vicariously as I will probably schlep through most of March.

Well February seemed to pass within the blink of an eye. All the best for March, Manee and I hope someone can apply the hand brake 🙂

I have to take a more positive attitude towards March and embrace your philosophy of “March Ahead”. I’m ending February feeling tired with my proverbial tail between my legs. I’m looking forward to bouncing back with renewed vigor in March.

I’m also looking forward to reading about your new project and that leap towards your dream career! Sounds exciting! 🙂
