Getting Ready for March

I am a flamingo

I realize that we still have a week left in February, so my posts will continue to be about my flamingo obsession. Are you getting sick of flamingos yet?

When I posted about Dandy trying on new wings, Joanne asked if I was going to follow this with information about how I was spreading my own wings. I loved the idea and said I would think about doing that for March.

I also recently posted about just jumping into the things that make us happy in order to find real success in life. Oh, to be doing that which makes me happy!

Well, the trouble is, I don’t always know what makes me happy, and I am sometimes too afraid of failing to try. What’s worse than fear of failure- the inability to figure out how to begin.

One thing I want to do is finish my children’s drawing books. I decided to start working on my drawing skills again. I don’t think it is the most stunning flamingo, but the thing is I am at least trying. I don’t have copies of my first letters ever written, but I am sure they didn’t look exactly like the letters I am typing now. We all have to start somewhere.

I like my flamingo, though I don’t think I have the proportions just right. It is still visibly a flamingo – that’s a start.

In March, I hope to write about my goals/plan to make my life more meaningful and successful. I hope to write regular posts about the steps I am taking to reach my goals.

I hope you will join me and possibly even dedicate March to your own personal plan, after all, my theme is Inspired to Write, Writing to Inspire.
