Take Me Somewhere Exciting

We have been using our wagon to transport wood for our wood burning stove. While there is wood in the house, there is often a wagon-load just outside, in case we need more late at night when it is too dark to find the woodpile.

This is what it should have looked like when I returned from walking the beast.

It didn’t. The flamingo, deprived of all water adventures, had not lost her desire for adventures after all.

This is what I found.

Flamingo: Hey, you’re home! Great to see you.

To the tune of an old familiar tune she began singing….

I’m a pink flamingo, there’s no doubt, you and the beast should take me OUT!

Me: Oh, I can take you out of the wagon very easily.

Have you ever seen a flamingo roll her eyes? It outdoes any teenager in the drama department.

I took the beast inside and realized that my sweet little flamingo had brought all the wood inside and I knew we had to take her for a ride.

It was a beautiful day, but after a long walk with a flamingo singing like a toddler the whole time, I am SICK of I’m a pink flamingo, there’s no doubt, you and the beast should take me OUT!

Well, I think she had fun and she continues to amaze me. This is what the wagon looks like now.
